‘35-point defeat’ Korean female selection, finished more than 100 times by giving away the championship to Japan

Korea ended the tournament by conceding victory in the last match.

The Korean university women’s selection team lost 44-79 to the Japanese university women’s selection team in the third day of the 46th Korea-Japan College Basketball Tournament held at Yonsei University Gymnasium on the 21st.

Japan led the victory with Tanaka Upoma scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and Miura Maika scoring 13 points.

In Korea, Seongeun Park scored 10 points and 6 rebounds, and Chae-ryun Jung scored 8 points and 1 rebound, but the team lost.

In Korea, Park Ji-soo hit a breakthrough lay-up and an outside gun, followed by Kim Seo-yeon with a 3-pointer, leading the atmosphere at the beginning of the game. As Tanaka’s poor shot feeling revived, Japan quickly accumulated 8 points from the inside and succeeded in reversing the game. Japan pressured Korea, induced a turnover, and scored consecutively with a quick attack. On the other hand, Korea, which was pushed back by Japan’s struggle, pulled the reins in pursuit, succeeding in scoring after a long time with Lee Na-ra’s mid-range jumper. However, Korea gave Japan a 3-point shot in the last attack and finished the first quarter with a score of 15-19.

From the beginning of the second quarter, Japan took the lead. As soon as Japan started, they ran away, scoring 6 points from the inside. On the other hand, Korea was blocked by Japan’s strong defense and had difficulty even crossing the half line. While South Korea’s offense was seldom resolved, Tanaka continued to lead by playing an active part in the goal. Korea began a counterattack with Kwon Na-young’s layup and Oh Se-in’s outer gun, narrowing the score to single digits. The first half ended with Japan leading 36-29. 먹튀검증

In the second half, the score gap widened even more. Inara narrowed the score to 5 points with an under-the-goal goal, but Japan stopped the pursuit by playing an active role on the outskirts. Then, Japan pressed and defended Korea, leading to a turnover and scoring consecutive fast-breaking goals. While Korea struggled on offense, Japan gained strength from within and widened the score to 59-39, a 20-point gap.

Korea recorded a turnover at the start of the 4th quarter, allowing Japan to score on a quick break and even a basket count, which made it difficult for the offense and defense. Lee Soo-ha succeeded in stealing and attempted a fast break, but it did not lead to a goal. While Korea seldom found a clue in the attack, Japan played an even role and developed an attack, winning a great victory.
