In 11 appearances in 2023, he went 1-0, facing 88 batters in 21 innings and striking out 26. He has allowed eight runs on 16 hits and 10 walks with a 2.14 ERA.
Jang has built a solid mound with the one-two punch of left-hander Hwang Jun-seo and right-hander Yuk Sun-yeop, as well as a five-man rotation of Kim Yoon-ha, Cho Dong-wook, and Won Jong-hae.
