The quarterfinals of the U.S. Women’s Professional Golf (LPGA) Tour’s Bank of Hope Match Play ($1.5 million total purse) have been finalized.
Ayaka Furue (JPN) held a two-stroke lead over Celine Boutier (FRA) through 17 holes in the quarterfinals of the tournament at Shadow Creek Golf Club (Par 72) in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, on Monday (Aug. 28).
Huroue also reached the final last year, finishing as runner-up to Ji Hee Lee.
Furue will be looking to make it two wins in a row on the LPGA Tour, having won one event last July at the Women’s Scottish Open.
Her semifinal opponent will be Riona Maguire (IRE).
Maguire defeated Lindsey Weaver Wright (USA) by three holes in the quarterfinals. She will be looking for her second LPGA Tour victory.먹튀검증
The other semifinal pits Lynn Grant (SWE) against Pajari Annanarukarn (THA).
Grant will be looking for her first LPGA Tour win, while Annanarukarn will be looking for her second career victory.
Meanwhile, all of the South Korean players in the tournament were eliminated in the group stage, including defending champion Ji Hee Lee.
