The ‘Seowon Valley Green Concert,’ a K-pop festival held at a golf course, will be held at a special stage at Seowon Valley Golf Club in Paju, Gyeonggi-do, on Sept. 30.
The Seowon Valley Green Concert, which began in 2000, is known for transforming the fairways and greens of golf courses into stages and seats, performing top Korean musicians and raising large amounts of money for charity.
The concerts have gone viral among K-pop lovers, with up to 3,000 people from China, Japan, and Southeast Asia, as well as the United States, South America, and Europe, flocking to Seowon Valley Green to watch the concerts. More than 40,000 people attend each year.
The event also contributes to the local economy of Paju City by increasing the sales of nearby accommodations, restaurants, taxis, and gas stations.
Seowon Valley Golf Club closes for the day and turns nine holes into a parking lot.
Since the event is a charity fundraiser, the musicians don’t get paid, but the lineup is always spectacular.
This year’s Seowon Valley Green Concert features an expanded lineup of trotting acts that have recently gained a strong following.
Jang Min Ho, Park Gun, Jin Sung, Kim Tae Yeon, and Hwang Woo Rim will take the stage.
There will also be performances by musicians with excellent vocal talents such as Kim Yeon-ji, Baek Ji-young, and Seo Do Band.먹튀검증
