Men’s professional volleyball KB Insurance wins shutout against Korean Air for the first time in 5 years

KB Insurance, the men’s professional volleyball player, caught the leading Korean Air in a year.

KB Insurance defeated Korean Air with a set score of 3-0 (25-18 26-24 25-19) in the Dodram 2022-2023 V-League home game held at Uijeongbu Gymnasium in Gyeonggi-do on the 24th.

KB Insurance’s ranking remains unchanged at 6th, but based on the regular league, KB Insurance found great confidence in that it won a valuable victory after losing 4 consecutive times to Korean Air, including 3 games this season, since January 29 of last year.

It has been almost 5 years since KB Insurance defeated Korean Air 3-0 on February 18, 2018, during the 2017-2018 season.

Korean Air finished the fourth round with 19 wins, 5 losses and 55 points. The plan to go into the all-star break pleasantly with the first 20 wins of the season was ruined by frequent mistakes.

Korean Air led to defeat with a game that was not like a first-place team, with scenes often appearing where the ball was dropped on the floor after putting it off.

This is the second time that Korean Air has lost without winning a set this season, following the match against OK Financial Group on the first day of this year.

The key to KB Insurance’s victory was Andres Villena, a Spanish apogee spiker who returned to the V-League as a substitute foreign player this season after playing two seasons for Korean Air.

After playing for Korean Air in the 2019-2020 season and the beginning of the 2020-2021 season, Villena, who came to Korea after two seasons, showed off a fierce attack against her former team, Korean Air.

Viyena, who laid the foundation for an easy victory with four consecutive goals including a serve ace at the beginning of the first set, scored 26 points, the most among both teams, giving KB Insurance 3 points.

KB Insurance won the 2nd set deuce, which was followed by a seesaw game, and provided an opportunity to escape the Korean Air jinx.

On 24-24, Villena pushed the ball with a powerful push, and the Korean Air players, who were in the air to block, couldn’t get it off, so the set point went to KB Insurance.

Immediately, Hwang Kyung-min finished the set with a powerful spike serve ace that landed near the right corner of the court.

In the middle of the 3rd set, 17-16, KB Insurance split the win and loss by adding 4 points by tying Hwang Gyeong-min and Viyena’s consecutive scores and Korean Air’s two offenses. 헤라카지노

When Villena opened up the water, Hwang Gyeong-min (10 points) and Han Seong-jeong (10 points) also burst into attacks.

In Korean Air, the attack was so tight that no player scored a double-digit score.

In the women’s match held at the Gimcheon Gymnasium in North Gyeongsang Province, Hyundai Engineering & Construction, which took first place, knelt down to Korea Expressway Corporation with a set score of 1-3 (21-25 17-25 25-19 20-25).

Hyundai E&C, which finished round 4 with a record of 20 wins and 4 losses in the season, suffered two losses in a row for the second time in the season due to the overall physical decline of the players.

It left 28 crime rooms, 10 more than road construction.

Hyundai Engineering & Construction’s main foreign player, Yasmin Bedart (registered name: Yasmin), who is undergoing rehabilitation from herniated disc surgery, is scheduled to return at the end of this month or early next month.

On the other hand, the Korea Expressway Corporation, which lost 0-3 in the last two games in a row, added 3 points with a well-organized game and moved up one step from 4th to 3rd.

Jeong Dae-yeong (42), a veteran middle blocker of Korea Expressway Corporation, added 13 points, breaking the 5,500 mark for the third time in the women’s career.
